Itinerary - Vetricia - Monte Giovo

We start from Rifugio Vetricia and walk up through the beech forest to open pasture on La Porticciola.

From there we follow a steep trail to Passo Boccaia then there is a short walk to Lago Santo.

We take the trail to Lago Baccio then climb back up to the Appennine ridge to Monte Rondinaio (1964m).

We then follow the ridge to Monte Giovo (1991m) and return to the car through the beech forest.
